The war in Ukraine, a devote's perspective

In fact, we know all of this, and more, since the meeting which took place in March 2022. Frustrated, Borris Johnson strongly demanded that Ukraine pull out of this deal. He preferred to hit Putin and bring Russia to its knees (The British have always dreamed of this. Russia being their congenital enemy.) Today, western journalists keep spreading the rumor that Putin doesn't want to negotiate. Frankly, how can you blame him for not believing all this lying business in the name of diplomacy?

Americans are not realizing to what extent the world is changing, especially since the beginning of the last year, 2022. They used to be champions of democratic ideals, but today they are perceived as true warmongers, with the worst malicious intentions.

Zelensky is currently bragging in the European parliament about the values ​​his fellow citizens cultivate. They are the ones, he proclaims, who motivate his countrymen to fight and die in the war against Russia. By doing so, Ukraine is also defending Western values ​​and for this reason we must support her wholeheartedly against Putin. 

Zelenski represents the Angel of good, and Putin the satanic side of humanity. Brussels applauds with both hands to his performance. The parliament has brought together the cream of European officials for this exceptional event. Not yet two years ago, these same parliamentarians ranked Ukraine among the very last countries in terms of corruption! Not to speak of his Nazi culture…

The EU is promising him the moon in the form of heterogeneous weapons. They should allow him to repel the Russian army and win the war. Our military experts don't understand, so elated are they by Zelensky's words and the belief in victory, that Russia will do as it pleases. It will destroy everything and make Ukraine inoffensive. It will become neutral, and America will not be able to put nuclear weapons on its soil, next to the border. 

Russia understood now for good that Europe was laughing at her all these years and does not respect treaties. The signatories of the Minsk agreements, Germany, France and Ukraine (Merkel, Holland and Zelenski), have publicly acknowledged, with blank cynicism, that they never intended to respect their signatures. Therefore, this agreement was worth nothing. Speaking of values!

It's indecent! We are in February 2023, a year after the start of the war. Right now Bakhmut is a slaughterhouse where Ukrainians are dying by the thousands and the European Union is rejoicing as if celebrating the ball of a hypothetical victory. For a year, corruption scandals have followed one another non-stop. Two weeks ago, they shot down a helicopter with an important Ukrainian minister inside, in the middle of Kiev, and yesterday the Minister of Defense had to resign for corruption! However, in spite of all these criminal activities and while poor citizens are sent to be killed at the front, our democracies boast of the war escalation which should scare Putin… And they are laughing!

Why is there no compassion and empathy for the Ukrainians?! They are enlisted by force by their government, and we know very well that a very large number of them will die for nothing: Russia will not retreat, despite all the weapons that will be sent to them. Why are we so cruel and foolish?

All governments in the West lie like tooth-pullers and commit the worst crimes, with Americans leading the chaos,* but the people bow their heads; they continue to live, as if nothing is happening, despite the dark clouds accumulating over our heads. They hope against hope that Maya will not harm them and eventually things will come back to normal. Their kids will grow happily, the bad clouds being moved somewhere else. 

* Yesterday, Joe Biden, who is in hot water, gave a speech, addressing the whole world, in which he declared that he will send Abrams tanks to Ukraine. He doesn't care that Russians can take that decision for crossing a red line and putting Europe in a bad situation for many, many years. He doesn’t care that Russia is the first nuclear power.

It has become increasingly difficult to hide the demonic activities of US President Biden and the one from Ukraine, Zelenski. The TV stations are having a hard time justifying their hypocrisy. Despite hundreds of deaths everyday of the poor Ukrainians, who are enlisted by force, journalists and politicians continue to encourage the sending of heavy weapons. It is to believe that they are calling for a nuclear catastrophe. Is it a collective karma that is awaiting us?

Why don't just admit defeat and stop that bad dream?

□ The war economy is the lifeblood of democratic regimes.

England is going through an unprecedented crisis. Not long ago, this would have been inconceivable and the scenario of a fiction film. Many citizens can no longer heat and feed themselves decently. Yet, they fail to see the injustice and folly displayed by the government in sending huge quantities of ammunition and exorbitantly priced weapons to foment and prolong the war in Ukraine. For this year 2023, France, where I live at the moment, narrowly escaped it, but next year we will be closer to what is happening in England.

Although the battle of Kurukshetra has caused millions of deaths, the war was not started in the name of religion. There were numerous kings from all over Bharata, which comprises many strong and different faiths, but the belligerents did not invoke their Gods as a pretext to destroy the enemies, with their whole family. Greeks, Jews, Romans, Huns, Christians and Muslims did it.

Now, this war is going on since 11 months: a mouse trying to fight heroically against a lion. Only in cartoons this is possible.

I can't hold back this rant today's morning. Soldiers are dying in Ukraine by the thousands right now, it's a horror! It's been almost a year now. But experts and journalists shamelessly repeat on television that they are winning the war. To do well, they say, "just send them more weapons". Have we gone completely mad?! 

Does this have to do with the Mahabharata, where the enemy was to die up to the last soldiers? The pattern sounds the same. The Kaurava knew from the beginning that Krishna was on the side of the Pandavas, therefore they could not win the war. Nevertheless, they decided to involve all of India, with a gigantic territory in those days, hence its name, Mahabharata. That was madness, already.

The War in Ukraine reveals the stupidity into which our civilization has sunk. The most prominent journalists and politicians, who were believed to be diligent and intelligent enough in revealing the perverse games of diplomats and lobbies, are in fact part of a conspiracy spearheaded by the West, especially the Americans. They tell us with the utmost seriousness and without shame that Ukraine is a democracy! How dare they express such a lie on national channels without being immediately sanctioned by public opinion?! Certainly because our European countries have become vast sects. Just like us, the Krishnas, citizens have ceased to think for themselves. Knowledge has become useless, it doesn’t suffice to rectify the truth.

A few months later. August 2023

Srila Prabhupada transformed thousands of people into brahmanas and the process continued after his departure from this world. Brahmanas are supposed to be qualified enough to advise the rulers of the world, just like in Vedic Culture 10 000 years ago. It is their duty to do so. However, on the war in Ukraine, to give an example and which I have already compared to the battle of Kurukṣetra, silence is total more than a year after the start of hostilities. Unfortunately, Ukrainian devotees were sent to an irremediable death. Why so little interest from the Hare Krishna devotees in this catastrophe makes me wonder about the sacred thread they are wearing around their neck.
